Caves and Surfing

On the last Sunday in Lobitos, the EcoSwell team took us to a beach further down the coast, where there was some amazing caves! As we ventured along the shoreline, we stumbled upon some stunning caves, their incredible formations captivating us with their beauty. Exploring these natural wonders was an unforgettable experience, a perfect way to unwind and reflect on our achievements before bidding farewell to Lobitos. We settled on the beach further down from the caves, where we chilled, played volleyball, had a dip in the sea and watched the sunset.

On the last morning of our working day, the girls and I decided try a surfing lesson. For me, it was a thrilling experience since I had never surfed before. We met up with the instructors bright and early, eager to hit the waves and try our hand at this amazing beach activity. We started with some exercises and stretches, before being taught the technique of how to get on the board. With each attempt to catch a wave, there were moments of exhilaration and a few inevitable tumbles into the water. But with encouragement from our instructor and each other, we persisted, determined to conquer the waves. It was such a fun experience, and I'm glad I had the chance to try it.
